Welcome to Laura Marié Dance Academy, where passion meets artistry under the guidance of Laura Marié Contreras, a renowned dance performer, teacher, choreographer, artistic director. and founder of LMDA.
Laura Marié Contreras, with a lifelong dedication to the art of dance, Laura Marié has enchanted audiences around the world with captivating performances that blend grace, precision, and emotion. Discovering a love for dance at a young age, started teaching at age 16 and has devoted her life to mastering various dance forms and sharing her expertise with others. She was recognized with a Student Leadership Award upon graduating in 2005 for being part of numerous performances presented by Danzamimos, Dance Company at Tec de Monterrey throughout her four years of Bachelor's Studies.

As a seasoned dance performer, Laura Marié has mesmerized audiences with her expressive movements, commanding stage presence, and innovative choreography. Performing in prestigious venues and festivals, she showcases her talent and passion for dance to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

As a dedicated teacher and choreographer, Laura Marié has inspired and mentored countless students, helping them discover their own unique expression through dance. Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her classes, she guides students to explore their creativity, technique, and artistry.

In 2017, Laura Marié, completed a world-class level of High-Performance Coaching Master's Program. This program by itself amounts to a highly valuable investment in personal development and motivation that allows her to instill in her students the art of self-relliance, sustainable success and transformative life-long skills.
In 2020, Laura Marié obtained certification as a personal trainer and nutrition specialist, recognizing the crucial importance of nutrition in achieving higher levels of overall performance. This certification has strengthened her ability to help students reach their full potential in dance and overall health.

Additionally, Laura Marié majored in Business Finance, from Institute of technology and higher Superior Studies at Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, inspired by her mother's hardworking spirit. Seeking to be of service, she learned to invest wisely and grow investment portfolios, appreciating that money as a tool is necessary for safety and sustenance and it is also a means that equips a person's ability to share higher purpose and meaning in life.

In 2010, Laura Marié founded Laura Marié Dance Academy with a vision to create a nurturing and inspiring environment where dancers of all levels can thrive. As the artistic director, she curates a diverse range of classes, workshops, and performances that celebrate the richness and diversity of dance styles.
